This September’s coffee morning we held a ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ to support Macmillan Nurses.

This was a joint effort by the Village Hall Committee and the West Malvern Garden and Nature Club. There was a lot of support for the Coffee Morning and many people had baked, donated prizes for the raffle, brought produce to sell, contributed items to a Bric-a-Brac stall and sold cards, books, plants and bulbs. There was a guess the height of the cake competition, which was won by Rosemary Herbert.

We raised the sum of £375, which was excellent.

We would like to thank everyone who helped and supported us.

Come and join us in October, Thursday the 5th, we meet at 10.15am and you are sure to find old friends and make new ones.

We enjoy a natter and new faces are very welcome. We are a friendly group of people of various ages. If you are new to the village there are ‘natives’ who can chat about the history, it’s a chance to find out about events and other groups and there is also the Hundred Club you can join.

See you there.
